First of all, please visit https://visa.nadra.gov.pk/ and visa is done through this web portal
After asking personal information you will be asked the following questions to be filled.
Visa Category: Pilgrim
Pilgrim visa has duration and validity time same as tourist visa and same for whole Pakistan – so a pilgrim can stay any place in Pakistan on this visa
Visa Type: Tourist
Sponsor Name: will be provided by sponsor
Sponsor Address: will be provided by sponsor
Sponsor Email: will be provided by sponsor
Sponsor citizenship ID # is: will be provided by sponsor
Sponsor Tel: will be provided by sponsor
Hotel name & Address: will be provided by sponsor
Hotel Tel: will be provided
The following 3 Documents are essential to upload if sponsor is by private Tourism Company
- Sponsor Letter
- Copy of Tourism License
- ID copy of signatory of invitation letter
The following 1 Document is essential to upload if sponsor is Parbandhak Committee
- Sponsor letter issued by Parbandhak Committee/ or by Licensed Tour Operator – nothing else is required unless asked
General Info:
- Any other additional supporting document is not essential but sometimes helps
- Visa processing time is 2 weeks
- Pilgrim/ Tourist visa fee is 60 USD or in equivalent currency
- Skip the other columns that are not mandatory to fill
- You may apply e-Visa even from second country or you are away from homeland
- In case of Indian Passport with second country PR should remain in country till got visa – immigration may question about personal appearance
- In case of second country PR but Indian passport, it is advised to get police registered at any city within Pakistan after arrival (subject to government advise)
- For Indian passport holders (no other PR), then they should apply through their local committees and visas are managed by the either side governments – this works on quota allocation basis on both sides
Photo Guide
Your photos must be professionally made and 45 mm (Millimeter) high by 35mm wide. Close up of your head and top of your shoulders so that your face takes up 70–80% of the photograph. In sharp focus and clear. Of high quality with no ink marks or creases.

Visa Validity & Duration of Stay:
- Visa is issued for 30 days that means you may stay 30 days in Pakistan
- Visa validity is 3 months that means you may enter within 3 months after visa issuance date
- Visa is single entry but you may ask multiple entries – normally you have to give reason for multiple entries, so single entry is preferred
